Mobile Boat Detailer

JOB DESCRIPTION

Revolutionize the ease in which people keep their boats clean. You will be responsible for performing interior boat detailing around Dane County (mostly on the four main lakes). We’re looking for someone who is up for some physical outdoor labor and has excellent customer/communication skills.

• Seasonal part-time work (5 – 15 hours/week) from April – September 2022
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (potentially nights/weekends) but your schedule availability is ultimately up to you (we won’t schedule you when you’re not available)
• Pay starts at $15.00/hour with opportunity for bonuses and you’ll frequently receive tips
• After training, you will be responsible for traveling around Dane County to provide interior boat detailing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• After initial training, you’ll be working by yourself (or with another detailer) to travel to a customer’s location to clean their boat’s interior (we do not provide exterior detailing at this time)
• Attentive to detail and rigorous in your cleaning of boats (see docksidemadison.com for a description of what the detail includes)
• Be attentive, outgoing, and friendly with customers day-of and through text if needed

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Age 16 or older
• Must have a car that can carry equipment (SUV preferred, sedan is do-able though it may overflow into your back seat depending on your trunk size)
• Able to be outside for up to 5 hours, performing physical (cleaning) duties throughout
• Some of the work will likely be at night, and on some weekends (but flexible)
